Why we love this town

There are so many reasons why we love Cedar City. This picture is just one of the many. I got a new camera for my birthday so I have been taking alot of pictures! I took these one night as I looked out my front door. Cedar City is a great small town. Not to small, but just the right size to raise a family. Our children have all gone to school here their whole lives. I think it is cool to graduate with the same kids you started kindergarten with. Mark, Jordan, and Whitney all drive about a mile to school through only one stop light each day. Me, Courtney, and Madee drive about 2 1/2 miles through exactly 4 stop lights to school each day. Now how can you complain about that? That is small town livin' at its best!

Christmas

We had a great Christmas this year surrounded by lots of family! Isn't that always the best way to have Christmas? My family was all here in Cedar, of course, we even had Jill come and visit from CA. We split our time between the Jordan's and the Comstock's because we were lucky enough to have Karin here since her move. And Lauren and Matt were visiting all the way from Saudi Arabia! Grandma and Grandpa Comstock always send us Christmas Eve PJs. Everyone came to our house and opened them together. Here are all the cute girl cousins in their NEW PJs!

I finally did it!

I finally did it! I have been having fun in the recent past looking at everyones blogs. I thought "What a great way to keep in touch and to keep a family history." I am not really good at either of these things so I thought if I could do a blog I could be accomplishing both of these things also! And I can show off my cute family too! Lauren told me the first thing I needed to start a blog was a cool name. That was a little tough. But I tried to be a little creative( with the help of others).
