6 Months

Jordan has been gone for 6 months now.
July 4th was his 6 month mark.
There have been times in these past 6 months that I was sure time had stood still.  I have shed many tears in these last 6 months and smiled many smiles.  :)  I miss him like CRAZY but if I was given the option I would not change a thing.  Jordan is where he needs to be right now at this time in his life.  He loves his mission.  He is learning, growing, and doing so many wonderful things.
Keep up the good work Elder Comstock!!!!!
(This is him in his apartment on his hammock.  He said before he left he hoped he would be able to sleep on a hammock on his mission.  Well his dream came true!!!)

Livin' it up at the ranch

<><><><>

The Comstock Family Reunion was a hit.
We went to a place called Reid Ranch.
It was so fantastic!  I got only 3 pictures because the first thing
we did when we got there was go down to
the lake and rode the paddle boats and canoes.
Well I had a little accident getting off the boat and onto the dock.
Yes, I fell into the lake!  With my camera, and it no longer works.  :(
Karin was the official family photographer and promised me some pictures.
So maybe I will have some more later.  The ranch was so fun.
There were a million things to do.  We stayed in a beautiful cabin.
We each had our own room and bathroom and a great
front porch to gather together and two large living rooms
we could sit and visit in.  All of our meals were fixed for us so all
we had to do was relax, visit, and play!!
We rode horses, went on long walks and hikes, did archery, played soccer,
volleyball, pickle ball, and basketball, went on the boats, swam (we had
our very own pool), played fuse ball, pool, and ping-pong, had glow stick fireworks on the 4th of July, and had an awesome family party for Grandma and Grandpa's 50th Wedding Anniversary!
It was a wonderful week.  We feel so blessed to have such great parents (grandparents)
and family to spend time with.

The Utah Summer Games were a hit again this year.  Both Whitney and Madelynn played.  Madee's team even got to play in the gold medal match.  They took the silver.  She has a great team with an excellent bunch of soccer players.

21 YEARS

Mark and I have been married for 21 years today!  It is hard to believe.  We decided that time flies when you are having fun.  The past 21 years have brought so many wonderful blessings our way.  Life it not ALWAYS easy but when you get to do it with someone you enjoy being with, someone who listens to you, someone who makes you laugh, someone who is kind and thoughtful, and who is your best friend it make the ride through life so much easier!!!  Heres to 21 more baby!!!!

To celebrate we spent the day in St. George.
We went to the temple and did sealings, ate at
Texas Roadhouse, and did and little shopping.

50 years have come and gone

What a couple... And I have been blessed to call them mom and dad for the past 21 years.  They are amazing people.  So glad that my children call them Grandma and Grandpa.  They have been married for 50 years now.  They are an example of love and goodness to all of our family.

Trip of a Lifetime Continued...

We saw lots of totem poles.
Had to get a picture with the "Falcon"
for Dave and Mark from the Falcon Faculty!

The sunset off the ship.
The sunset in the middle of the ocean is soooo beautiful.

Going thru the Tracey Arm Fiyord.
I know HORRIBLE picture.  It was 6:00am.
But it was sure worth getting out of bed for.

The Mendenhall Glacier.

We went whale watching in Juneau and saw a mother whale swimming with her calf and a "calf escort".  Our guide told us the "calf escort" is a male who swims with the mother and baby to help protect them.  The picture below is of the whale blowing water out of it's spout.  That is how you can first spot them.   You see the spray coming out of the water.  It was an amazing experience.

In Skagway.  That is our ship in the background.

We also saw several bald eagles.

Saying goodbye to Seattle.

We woke up on Tuesday to this on our door.
It was Mark's Birthday!!!  Happy Birthday Babe!!!!
We found these funny hats.  Didn't buy them but they were fun to try on.  :)

Look who Julie and I found in Alaska!!  And she was nice enough to allow us to take a picture with us.
Welcome to Ketchikan, Alaska.  Me, Julie and Dave.

We went to a "Lumberjack Show"  in Ketchikan.
(more later of the rest of the trip)
I need to head out to the start of our Summer Games soccer games!!!
Yay!  I LOVE the Summer Games.  And we have perfect weather for it this year.
