I just need to post a little brag about my cousin Jodi. She is so awesome. We are close to the same age. (3 weeks apart to be exact!) This is really not the best picture of us but it is the most recent one I have. We are in front of the Oquirrh Mountian Temple on a windy day:) We have had a great life together. We are extremely blessed to be part of a wonderful legacy left to us by our precious grandparents. Grandma and Grandpa Felt were and ARE two of the most incredible people I have ever known. I have always said that my Grandpa Felt was the most Christlike person I knew. And I learned so much about service, loving, and caring for others from my Grandma Felt. Jodi and I were blessed to be some of the oldest grandchildren and spend many wonderful times with our grandparents. We were lucky to have our grandma with us until we were close to 40 years old. Not many people are that lucky! Anyway, Jodi is so much like Grandma with the way she loves, cares, and serves. She is also a gifted writer and has had her first book published. ( I say first because I am sure there will be many more to come.) Her book is called "The Beauty of Virtue" and it is a must read for all women and teenage girls! She started writing it long before the Young Women of the church added virtue to their Young Women Values. She is truly inspired. I am leaving a link to her blog so you all can find out more about her book and read more about this wonderful lady! She will be in Cedar speaking in late March and I cannot wait to "show her off". Make me cry why don't you! Becky, we are so lucky to be cousins and to share our family heritage. Thanks for cheering me on. You know I feel the same way about you. As a wife, mother, and full-time teacher, you're as gifted as they come. You're an example to me and I'm blessed to have you in my life. I love you, cuz!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I also had to remind you of our claim to "ski" fame back at BYU in ski class with our handsome-as-ever ski instructor...you and I took out the mountain and our entire ski class! Who knew we wouldn't be good at mogles? Ha Ha.
