Oh how we love this girl!!!!

It was Homecoming at CVHS last night.  We had a fun filled week full of many different Homecoming activities.  One really exciting thing that happened was that Whitney was nominated for the Homecoming court.  I remember when Whitney was in the first grade and 2 of the girls from our ward were nominated for the court.  She loved those girls and really looked up to them and always wanted to be "like" them.  I told her then that the girl chosen to be the Homecoming Queen is not always the prettiest girl she is usually the nicest girl.  I have always told her it is nice to pretty but it is much more important to be nice!  I am so proud of her to have been nominated by her peers.  7 girls and 7 boys were chosen from the entire senior class and she was one of them.  That is quite an honor.
